ACLS Refresher (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

This is an ACLS REFRESHER course (1 day).  

Course Length 6.5 hours.

ACLS is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, skills are taught in large, group sessions and small, group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented.

• You must currently possess a valid American Heart Association ACLS card in order to take this class.
• You will be issued an ACLS card by CHS Mobile Integrated Health Care (on behalf of the AHA) which is valid for two (2) years.
• Please note - AHA exams are now 'open resource', permitting use of textbooks and notes when taking the exam.

The free ACLS Pre-Course Self Assessment is required. Please bring the completion certificate with you to class.

The class is FREE for full-time residents of the Town of Chili, Henrietta and Wheatland (excluding Village of Scottsville).  Residency will be verified. IF you do not live in the Town of Chili, Henrietta and Wheatland, your registration WILL be automatically deleted.
